The First Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership Forum

On 12 Dec 2012, IBDE organised the First Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership Forum – Exploring Benefits and Pitfalls of the EU-US Trade Agreement. The Forum was kindly hosted by the European Commission Representation in the UK. The Forum was a great success. It assembled some excellent speakers and around 130 delegates from across the industries, embassies, government agencies, academia, and civil society, to discuss the benefits and pitfalls of TTIP and what this proposed major trade agreement would mean for the US and EU economies (the UK included). IBDE is pleased to be working with industry practitioners, policymakers and other stakeholders and will strive to make its modest contribution to this debate.
