IBDE team is headed by an executive director who has extensive experience in the worlds of business and diplomacy.

The CEO is responsible for overall strategy development, fundraising and relationship with key stakeholders. He is also in charge of IBDE’s delivery of programmes and services, team management, administration and financial issues. An Advisory Board made up of policy-makers, ambassadors, businesspeople and experts from relevant fields supports the CEO.

Rudi Guraziu, MA | Chief Executive

Rudi Guraziu is founder and CEO of IBDE (International Business and Diplomatic Exchange). Rudi for a decade was one of the principals in the running of a large pharmaceutical business, until 2000. For many years, following that, he has been actively engaged with business leaders and diplomats as a consultant on Foreign Affairs. His expertise covers international affairs with a particular focus on EU affairs, public policy, financial services, political risk, business and commercial diplomacy. His research interests are in exploring the impact of international events and turning crises into opportunities. Before establishing IBDE, he initiated the establishment of the Centre for Business and Parliamentary Dialogue. For much of that time he has worked with different parliaments particularly in the relationship between legislative bodies and economic operators. He holds an MA in International Relations (with distinction). Rudi is a UK National and has previously worked and lived in the Balkans, Switzerland, Sweden.
